Information & How We Work

How come my code isn't working?
Whenever a particular store holds any form of promotion it will list Terms and Conditions. Voucher codes are a form of promotion and so there will be rules and guidelines that need to be adhered to when redeeming any type of voucher code. For example, you may only be allowed to apply a certain voucher code if you spend over a specified amount on that store's website. Other stores may allow you to apply multiple voucher codes on one order. We therefore recommend that you check the individual store's terms and conditions and only try to redeem one voucher code at a time.

How to fit Wooden and Fauxwood blinds See our complete "how to fit" series here: http://www.web-blinds.com/how-to-measure-and-fit/how-to-fit/ Read the guide as a PDF: http://www.web-blinds.com/media/pdf/fitting-instructions-wood.pdfStage 1: Fit the head rail1 Fitting your blind outside the window (exact fitting) To make sure the centre of the rail is precisely in the middle of your window, the measurements at either end (C) need to be the same. To work out C: • measure the width of the window (measurement B). Write down the measurement. • measure the width of the blind (measurement A). Write down the measurement. Take measurement B away from measurement A and divide the answer by 2 to get measurement C. Now follow step 2 then the instructions for face fixing1 Fitting your blind inside the window (recess fitting)You need to decide whether to face fix or top fix your blind. Top fix your blind to the lintel if: • you have uPVC window frames, or • there are obstructions like handles Face fix your blind if: • you want to fit the bracket to the window frame2 Put your blind in the fitting position and tilt it forward to show the ladder controls. You’ll need to leave at least 5cm either side of any cords when you fit the brackets3 Top fixing Measure the distance that any handles stick out from the frame (A). Mark this measurement on the lintel and use it to position the back of the bracket. Mark the position of holes (B) and screw the bracket to lintel using screws and rawl plugs provided.3 Face fixing Position bracket with the swing arm, which will hold the blind to the headrail, facing towards you. Mark holes (B). Screw bracket in place. Use rawl plugs if fitting to the wall.Stage 2: Attach the blind1 Push the swing arm anti-clockwise as far as it will go. Clip the blind over the bracket, first easing the front lip of the headrail (A) into place before the back corner clicks in.2 Push the swing arm clockwise until it locks into place, firmly holding the blind head rail.3 To raise and lower the blind, use cord control A. To adjust the angle of the slats, use wand control BTranscriptions: In this video I am going to show you how to fit a Wooden Venetian blind Or an innovations "pho" wooden blind but the procedure is almost exactly the same now what you get is the blind itself plus a valance piece we'll come onto that later You'll also find the screws and the plugs A cleat for tidying up your cords and 2 end brackets Now these can be used for either face fixing if that's the option you have selected or as I'm going to do is for top fixing inside the recess of a window if your blind is a fairly long one you'll also get a centre support bracket and if its been included with your blind then you need to fit this as well in addition you will need to provide a drill with a suitable drill bit a cross head screw driver, a metal tape measure and a pencil now we are going to start with positioning these brackets now do you remember when we measured your window we were aware of obstructions that might get in the way of your blind We've got the same situation here we effectively want to make sure we have the back of the blind doesn't hit the handle when its on the way down so we need to measure how far out these protrude and for safetys sake I'm going to allow 4cms in my case So we need to do is make sure the back of the bracket is more than 4cm's away form the window frame so if I start off by making a mark where 4cm's comes to I then need to position the bracket and the way you mount it there is a little springy door at the front you want that door pointing towards you away from the window frame you want to mount that on there and pushing your pencil up through the hole mark where you are going to drill through and now we need to do the same on the other side now if your blind comes with a center support you might think you need to put it right in the middle but check first because check on the head of your blind in the middle their might be part of a mechanism so the best advice positioning that is measure from the end and Im going to put mine 75cm's in to avoid getting in the way but check with you blind for your own measuements so now I am going to come across 75cm which is here put a little mark and remember to that need to bring the back of the bracket out the same distance as the ends which in my case was 4cm so that it avoids the obstructions once again mark the position that you need to drill through using your pencil we are now ready to get the drill out now the brackets are designed so you can get your screwdriver through the hole on the opposite side so now your brackets are up you are now ready to put the blind in place but first you just need to check one thing if you have the Wooden Venetian blind with the Velcro squares on the front then that's fine you can put that up now but if you have got the innovations pho wooden blind Contd.....
