How come my code isn't working?
Whenever a particular store holds any form of promotion it will list Terms and Conditions. Voucher codes are a form of promotion and so there will be rules and guidelines that need to be adhered to when redeeming any type of voucher code. For example, you may only be allowed to apply a certain voucher code if you spend over a specified amount on that store's website. Other stores may allow you to apply multiple voucher codes on one order. We therefore recommend that you check the individual store's terms and conditions and only try to redeem one voucher code at a time.

How to Build a Bee Hotel with Wickes In this tutorial, our Wickes experts show you the best techniques to use when building your own Bee Hotel. A Bee Hotel can make an attractive and nature friendly addition to any garden, especially one with lots of plants and vegetables. It's also a great home for solitary bees, which can help keep your plants pollinated. Subscribe to the Wickes YouTube channel here: http://po.st/OvkPe7 For more Wickes videos click here: http://po.st/7ycdWBHere is the step by step guide to building your Bee Hotel. Assemble your work bench on a level surface, making sure you have enough space to move around when sawing and measuring. First you'll need to measure out and cut the sides for the Bee Hotel.Next turn your wood on its side and then measure and mark 18mm along from the existing line. Using a ruler as a guideline, connect the two lines to form a small triangle. This will act as your 45 degree guide when sawing the side of the Bee Hotel. Line up your saw with diagonal line being sure to follow the guidelines as you go. Alternatively you can use a mitre box or mitre saw to achieve this cut. Then remove the wood from the clamps and lay flat. Place the cut section on top of the original plank and line up the two angles. Using the base of the cut section mark a line on the longer plank, this is so both sides will be exactly the same length. Then secure and saw along the guide line. From the base of the wood measure 216mm upwards and again draw the guide line. You will now have two rectangular sections marked out. These will be used as the shelves within the Bee Hotel.Once you have sawed these sections, mark out a line of 144mm from the bottom of the remaining wood. This section will then form the base.Prepare the base section by tapping in panel pins into each of the corners. Then secure the side pieces one at a time and add wood glue for extra strength. Line up your base section and hammer the pins into place. Then measure 150mm from the base of the Bee Hotel and mark on both sides. Then mark the position of the second shelf so measure 300mm from the base and again mark on both sides. Add wood glue and line up the bottom of the shelves with the marks. Ensure the shelves are straight and then hammer eight pins into place, two on each side of the shelves. The sloping roof is made out of 18x200mm piece of timber board, this is so the roof can overhang and keep the bamboo, logs and bark dry. These sections will form the roof panels, with one slightly shorter to allow for the overlap. Secure and cut the two sections. To attach the roof section together tack three panel pins into the longer piece of wood where to two sections will eventually join. Apply wood glue to the shorter section, secure it in the work bench and then line up the two sections at a right angle and hammer the pins in.For the back board, lay the remaining piece on the bench. Place the Bee Hotel on top and line up all the edges. Slide the roof into place and mark it out as a line on the back board. Securing the back board in the bench saw along the line. Tack four pins into the peak of the back board, and then apply wood glue to the roof. Then holding the back board in place, hammer the pins through.Put the Bee Hotel face down on the bench and apply wood glue to the sides, then place the back board with the newly attached roof into place on top. Ensure all the edges are aligned before continuing, and then hammer eight panel pins with equal spacing into the back board to secure it.Put on your safety googles and drill a hole into the centre of the back board just below the top peak of the roof so it can be hung later. The Bee Hotel is now assembled and it needs to be decorated. Paint all the surfaces, including those that will be out of sight, as unpainted wood may attract moisture which could cause damage. Leave to dry and then it's time to cut the bamboo, logs and bark to fill the Bee Hotel.Measure the bamboo and saw. Use this as a size marker for the remaining sections. Once you have enough, use your log pieces in the same way.Once the paint dries, fill the Bee Hotel with the bamboo, logs and bark and then your Bee Hotel is complete. Hang your Bee Hotel at least 1m off the ground in a sheltered location. Ensure it is facing either south or east so it can capture as much sunlight and warmth as possible. Aim to place it near a bee hotspot like a flower bed.Shop Wickes garden range here: http://po.st/xwIKUD Shop Wickes drills here: http://po.st/WtjTTb Shop Wickes work benches here: http://po.st/Swlg64 Shop Wickes timbercare here: http://po.st/5eVVcb For more information and advice on gardening and landscaping visit the Wickes website here: http://po.st/aGktof Wickes Website: http://www.wickes.co.uk/ Wickes Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Wickes.co.uk Wickes Twitter: https://twitter.com/Wickes Wickes YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/wickesvideo How to Build a Bee Hotel with Wickes
